The concept of process systems engineering is applied to the detection ,analysis and system optimization of water systems in coal chemical enterprises in the northwest of China. Combined with the application of new water-saving technologies,the water consumption per unit product of the enterprise has been reduced,providing directive help to water saving and emissions reduction for coal chemical enterprises.
