This paper introduces the laser scanning technology applied in the field of monitoring building deforma -tion,laser scanning technology is summarized in monitoring building deformation application research .monitoring NingBo GuaHua Building deformation as an example ,this paper introduces the elevation and plane control network construction and accuracy control ,discusses the laser scanner accuracy and efficiency of give attention to two or morethings optimal embattling distance ,laser scanner is verified the accuracy of the measured data by high precision total station ,through a-nalysising two phases of laser point cloud data ,demonstrates the feasibility of of laser scanning technology in monitoring building deformation .
