With the development of computer technology,virtual instrument technology has been widely applied and promoted. Virtual instrument technology is a new technology which comes into to being and begins to develop based on the support of computer technology and new concepts.This paper introduced virtual instrument technology from the composition of virtual instrument technology and the classification,advantages and application of virtual instrument technology,and final y,it made on prospect on its new development.
