元认知是一种深层次的认知活动。在高职英语听力教学中，将元认知策略应用到听力教学中，可以提高学生的认知能力，提高学生的听力技能，培养学生的自主学习能力和反思的能力。本文展示了在听力课上教授学生运用元认知策略提高听力理解能力的一个课堂实例。

Metacognitive is a deep cognitive activity.In English listening teaching of higher vocational college,the way that metacognitive strategies apply to listening teaching will improve cognitive ability and listening skills and develop independent study and introspection of students.This paper shows how to use metacognitive strategies in listening class to improve listening comprehension ability of students.
