文章通过YT15硬质合金刀具在不同切削速度下切削硫系和钙硫系易切钢试验,研究了这2种易切钢的切削刀具磨损机理,由试验数据和电镜扫描图像的对比分析,得到试样的刀具寿命曲线和磨损形态。试验结果显示,切削速度对切削2种易切钢的刀具寿命影响都十分明显,硫系易切钢在切削速度150m/min时刀具寿命是钙硫系易切钢的1.5倍,而在200、300m/min时,两者的刀具寿命相当。2种易切钢试样的磨损形态大致相似,黏结磨损和扩散磨损是其主要磨损原因,在速度为150、200m/min时都出现了积屑瘤。

The wear mechanisms of sulfur free cutting steel and calcium sulfur free cutting steel ,which were cut by using YT15 cemented carbide tools at various cutting speeds ,were studied .The tool life curves and wear patterns of these two samples were gotten respectively through comparing and analy-zing the experimental data and scanning electron microscope images .The experimental results show that the tool life of both cutting steels are affected obviously by cutting speed ,and the tool life of sul-fur free cutting steel is 1.5 times than that of calcium sulfur free cutting steel when the cutting speed is 150 m/min .However at 200 m/min and 300 m/min ,the cutting tool life is almost the same .More-over ,the wear patterns of both kinds of cutting steels are roughly similar ,and the main reasons of wear are adhesion wear and diffusion wear ,and the built-up edge has appeared on both of the samples at the speed of 150 m/min and 200 m/min .
