The nickel-containing electroplating wastewat er which consists of heavy metal ions is extremely harmful to human health. It is not only the serious cause of pollution to the environment ,but also a waste of valuable resources,if the nickel-containing electroplating wastewater is discharged arbitrarily without any treatment. The methods for treating nickel-containing wastewater by chemical ,physical and biological methods are summarized ,and the advantages and disadvantages of new methods and technologies for treating nickel electroplating wastewater are summarized. Meanwhile,the treatment techniques and methods for the treatment of nickel-containing electroplating wastewater are looked ahead.
