为了优化炸药及其模拟材料的切削表面质量,采用低速正交切削实验和显微摄像方法,对奥克托今(H MX )为基的高聚物黏结炸药模拟材料的切屑剥离、实际切深、切屑形态以及边缘质量等成型特征进行了实验研究,建立了切削表面成型过程的唯象模型。结果表明,炸药模拟材料的切削过程符合脆性材料切削成型的基本特征,但受组分材料、细观结构以及制备工艺等因素的综合影响,小切深、中等切深及大切深3个特征切深的范围不同,分别为0~0.1 mm、0.1~0.5 mm、0.5~1.5 mm;边缘崩块与切深、工件结构的边界条件有关,裂纹形成与扩展的成型特征决定了中等及大切深下容易产生边缘崩块,减小切深可以改善边缘崩块,中等切深下可以通过改变进刀与出刀位置来控制边缘崩块。

In order to optimize cutting surface quality of explosive and its stimulant,the formation characteristics of a HMX-based polymer bonded explosive simulant,including chip detachment,actual cutting depth,chip shape and edge quality,were experimentally studied by means of low-speed orthogonal cutting experiment and microscopic photography,and the phenomenological model of cutting surface was set up.Results show that the cutting process of explosive simulant is similar to that of brittle materials,however,the small,medium and large characteristic cutting depths,divided by 0-0.1 mm,0.1-0.5 mm and 0.5-1.5 mm,are different for different components, mesostructure and preparation technique and so on.Edge drop piece is related to cutting depth and structural bound-ary of workpiece.Under medium and large cutting depth,edge drop piece likely appeare mainly for surface format-ted by generation and growth of crack,and cutting depth should be decreased to improve it while the position of tool-in and tool-out could be changed under medium cutting depth.
