为深入了解河北省城市土地集约利用时空变化规律，以11个设区市为研究对象，运用改进信息熵权法对2003—2012年间河北省城市土地集约利用水平进行综合评价，结合G IS空间分析法分析其时空差异。结果表明：从时序上看，河北省城市土地集约利用整体水平呈波动上升，集约度由0.40提升至0.47，区域间差异日趋缩小；从空间上看，呈现“中东部高，西北低”的空间分异格局；各城市土地利用集约度变化程度呈现显著差异。研究结果对推进城镇化转型发展具有重要意义。

To further understand the temporal and spatial changing patterns of urban land intensive utilization in Hebei province ,the paper made a comprehensive evaluation of urban land intensive utilization level from 2003 to 2012 in Hebei province by using the improved entropy weight method and applying GIS spatial analysis method to analyze its temporal and spatial differences .Some important conclusions are drawn as follows :the overall level of the intensive utilization of urban land in Hebei province raised from 0 .40 to 0 .47 with fluctuations in terms of the timing series and the regional differences was becoming increasingly narrowed;in terms of space ,the level presents a space differentiation pattern that “the central and east is high ,the northwest is low” ,and the degree of urban land intensive utilization characteristics show significant differences .The results of the study are of great significance to the transformation of urbanization development .
