北周作为一个承前启后的王朝，其在文化史上的地位是应该受到重视的。北周时期西域地区各种文化密切交融，音乐作为其中的重要代表呈现出来源广泛、数量繁多、成分复杂的特点。这些风格独特而又共存共融的西域音乐与北周音乐关系极为密切，经持续与大量东传进入北周后对北周乃至后世音乐影响甚巨。
北週作為一箇承前啟後的王朝，其在文化史上的地位是應該受到重視的。北週時期西域地區各種文化密切交融，音樂作為其中的重要代錶呈現齣來源廣汎、數量繁多、成分複雜的特點。這些風格獨特而又共存共融的西域音樂與北週音樂關繫極為密切，經持續與大量東傳進入北週後對北週迺至後世音樂影響甚巨。
북주작위일개승전계후적왕조，기재문화사상적지위시응해수도중시적。북주시기서역지구각충문화밀절교융，음악작위기중적중요대표정현출래원엄범、수량번다、성분복잡적특점。저사풍격독특이우공존공융적서역음악여북주음악관계겁위밀절，경지속여대량동전진입북주후대북주내지후세음악영향심거。
The cultural and historical status of the Northern Zhou Dynasty as a continuity of the dynasty is important. During the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Western Regions' cultures interacted closely. Music, as an important representative, was characteristic of di-verse sources, numerous in number and complex schools. The unique and merging Western Regions music had close relationship with the Northern Zhou Dynasty's music. Its continued spreading eastward had great influence on Northern Zhou Dynasty's music and even later music development.
