With the continuous development of the social civilization,the field of medicine is facing with the rapid revolution and update.As the important guarantee and approach of life-long learning for medical staff,the continuing medical education has already become the common subject.The development in this aspect of the developed countries is relatively mature and accumulated some experiences.Taking the continuing medical education of Japan as the research object,this thesis summarizes the basic information of the health care system and the medical education in Japan,introduces its continuing medical education system in detail and deeply analyses its advantages and disadvantages to direct and provide references for the development of domestic continuing medical education system in the future.
