As one of the important agricultural information technologies, digital image processing technology has a good extensive application prospect in agriculture. This paper compared the image processing technology with the ruler and grid measuring methods, and designed the related model for measuring the area of Ramie blade with image processing technology, which had some positive meaning in monitoring crop growth and predicting the yield.
