植物生态学是一门理论性极强的课程，该课程的教学改革需要结合实际的生态问题来阐述其理论。将国内外优秀纪录片中揭示的生态问题和教师的生态学科学研究过程制作成微视频，在课堂上引导学生积极思考、主动学习，同时在调整教学内容、丰富教学方法与手段和改革课程考核形式3方面做出调整，注重培养学生在面对现实生活中的生态问题时的创新思维能力和解决实际问题的能力。
