目的:观察腹腔注射安钠咖对大鼠体质量及空间学习和记忆巩固能力的影响。方法27只雄性SD大鼠随机分为3组:对照组、安钠咖小剂量组及安钠咖大剂量组,隔1 d于腹腔注射药物前测量并记录大鼠体质量。药物注射结束后,应用Morris水迷宫评定大鼠空间学习及记忆巩固能力。结果安钠咖大剂量组大鼠平均体质量与对照组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);而安钠咖小剂量组与对照组、安钠咖大剂量组大鼠体质量比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。在Morris水迷宫定位航行试验中,安钠咖大剂量组逃避潜伏期与对照组及安钠咖小剂量组相比,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);而对照组与安钠咖小剂量组比较平均逃避潜伏期在各训练日差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论大剂量安钠咖使大鼠体质量增加缓慢,并可损害大鼠空间学习和记忆巩固能力。

Objective To investigate the effects of intraperitoneal injection of sodium benzoate on the weight and spatial learning and memory consolidation in rats. Methods Twenty-seven male SD rats were randomly divided into three groups: the control group, sodium benzoate low-dose group and sodium benzoate high-dose group. The weight of rats were measured and recorded with an interval one day before the drugs were intraperitoneally injected. After the drug injection, Morris water maze was used to assess the spatial learning and memory consolidation of rats. Results There was statistically significant difference in the average weight of rats between the sodium benzoate high-dose group and the control group (P<0.05). However, no statistically significant difference was found in the weight of rats between the sodium benzoate low-dose group and the control group or the sodium benzoate high-dose group (P>0.05). In the navigation test of Morris water maze, there was statistically significant difference in the escape latency of rats between the sodium benzoate high-dose group and the control group or the sodium benzoate low-dose group (P<0.05). No statistically significant difference was found in the average escape latency at every training day between the control group and the sodium benzoate low-dose group (P>0.05). Conclusion Using high-dose of sodium benzoate in this experiment can slow weight gain, and decrease spatial learning and memory consolidation in rats.
