曹庄煤矿随着生产能力的提高,开采储量逐年下降,煤炭资源枯竭,尤其是近几年为延长矿井服务年限,提高资源回收率,对一些受地质影响的煤柱工作面及煤矿开采初期遗留下来的煤炭资源进行开采。曹庄煤矿首次在下分层工作面应用综采工艺并实验成功,所有煤层均实现了综采工艺,通过对三层煤下分层推行新工艺、新技术,既实现了下分层工作面的高产高效,又对人工假顶下大断面巷道实现综采工艺的安装积累了经验。
