Based on the capacity coupled principle ,a measurement method of stray capacity in micro EDM is proposed. The stray capacitance on the machine can be calculated by measuring the gap open voltage based on the voltage-divider theorem. The feasibility of the method was verified through the circuit simulation software,then the reliability of the method was proved through the experiments.
