Normally, it is easy to know the calculate method of tightening torque for bolt/nut assembly, or to get the recommended value. However, such information is rare for stud assembly. During the daily work, product engineer would calculate the tightening torque of stud based on the value of hexagonal bolt, but over-torque issue would be generated and thread will be screwed if such method adopted.In this paper, such kind of issues will be solved by analyzing stud assembly structure, making assembly tests, then proper tightening torques will be selected.
