Combined with Xuzhou third-ring west road elevated expressway project second-ring north road tunnel construction, SMW pile along with steel strengthening pit supporting forms is adopted in view of silt and liquefaction sandy soil tunnel excavation construction. The foundation pit support is effectively implemented. It improved the security of the tunnel construction and speeded up the construction progress and saved investment. It can be used in similar projects.
