The study on molecular recognition of artificial receptors is one of the frontiers in bioorganic chemistry. Molecular tweezers as a new type of artificial receptor get widespread attention, it can be used in chiral separation, molecular recognition and sensors etc. This paper reviews the recent progress in molecular tweezers artificial receptors.
