如何在实验室硬件条件有限的情况下，提高学生在网络工程方面的实践动手能力，是目前应用技术型大学所面临的重大课题。通过引入Packet Tracer 网络设备模拟器，将模拟实验环境与真实设备相结合。实践证明，在网络工程类课程实践教学中，取得了良好的教学效果，大大提高学生的学习兴趣，提升了解决工程应用方面的能力。

It is a big challenge for application-oriented universities,with the limit of experimental hardware condition,on how to enhance practical skills of our students on network engineering. With the help of Packet Tracer network device simu-lator,we can integrate simulated experiment environment with physical devices. As our experiments approved,in our prac-tice in network engineering series courses,we gained a good result in our courses that our students not only take more inter-est in learning,but also make progress on problem-solving ability in network engineering.
