This paper expounded the corrosion mechanism and protective measures of octenal heat exchanger in the condensation system of the Octanol Plant,made analysis to the exchanger’s morphological observation,component analysis,mechanical performance testing and material structure,and determined the cause for heat exchanger corrosion. Measures for corrosion prevention were put forward,and ideal corrosion prevention effect was achieved.
