The design and operation of V type fiber filter were introduced. The operating data showed that, under the condition that the mass concentrations of SS, CODCr in the influent water were lower than 20 and 30 mg/L respectively, the turbidity was lower than 12 NTU, the removal rates of SS and turbidity were both above 80%, and the removal rate of CODCr was 15% - 20%. The pollutant retention capacity of rotary-wing shaped fiber filter materials was 7.8 kg/m3, the backwashing water consumption was only 2.7% of the filtration water quantity, above 90%of pollutant can be backwashed.
