The cause for the increase of thermal loss of a unit was analyzed,and the technical characteristics,process principle and spraying scheme of fiber spraying were analyzed. The performance test result showed:after adoption of fiber spraying technique in the unit,158 t fuel has been save each year,orientation shrink of heating furnace lining under high temperature has been avoided,crack generation has been avoided,ability in resistance to airflow washing has been enhanced,the service life of the lining has been extended,maintenance time has been shortened,and maintenance work has become easier.
