Blasting engineering construction has big potential safety hazard. The seismic wave has great influence on the building and structures around the blasting area. Based on the engineering examples, this article proves that blasting vibration effect monitoring experiment is a must when engineering blasting is carried out in places when buildings and structures are concentrated, in order to provide test data, so as to adjust and optimize the blasting parameters and prevent accidents.
