湿疹为临床多发皮肤病，其病情顽固，极难痊愈，结合古医家的相关论述，湿疹的根本病机为中土不足，感受湿邪。针对其脾虚湿蕴的核心病机，从补土理论论治湿疹的思想贯穿始终，以中土为轴，注重其与他脏他腑的联络，从而可收到良好的疗效。其具体治法治则又分为培土生金法、培土达木法，清心补土法和两本兼顾法。湿疹临床虽可表现为燥热之象，但切忌滥用苦寒之药，否则造成中土衰败、血凝湿滞，变生他症，是为要义。
