为了提高数据库原理及应用课程教学质量，结合课程的特点，提出了在该课程中运用案例教学法的原则，阐述了将该课程知识点与案例相结合进行教学的具体方法，细化了该课程案例设计流程。教学实践表明，在数据库原理及应用课程中引入案例教学，不仅激发了学生的学习兴趣，而且提高了学生运用所学知识解决实际问题的能力。

To improve teaching quality of database principle & application course, this article presents the rule of thumb on applying the case teaching method to the course in terms of the features of the course, and expounds the specific scheme on teaching by integrating the course’s knowledge points with the cases, and details the case design flow of this course. By teaching practice, it is shown that to introduce the case teaching to this course can not only arouse the cadets’learning interests, but also improve the cadets’ability to solve the practical problems using what they have learnt.
