现有提取一维距离像尺寸的方法是在宽带去斜后采用FFT,再进行CFAR检测提取散射点并估计尺寸.由于弹道目标的散射点强度相差较大,直接用FFT方法会导致大散射点旁瓣掩盖小散射点,而引起尺寸估计不准;加窗后作FFT再估计散射点和尺寸又有信噪比损失.为此提出采用RELAX算法,逐次估计散射点的位置和幅度,去除了大散射点旁瓣的影响,又没有信噪比损失.基于RCS计算数据的仿真结果表明,该方法对目标尺寸估计精度至少提高了0.3 m,满足一般信噪比条件下识别真假弹头的要求.

The existing extraction method for one-dimensional range profile size is to use the FFT after de-sloping in wide band, to perform the CFAR detection for extracting the scattering points and estimate the size. As the scattering pints’intensity of the ballistic targets has bigger difference, using directly the FFT method can give rise to the large scattering points’side-lobe covering up those small scattering points, resulting in inaccuracy of size estimation, while doing FFT after windowing and re-estimating the scattering points and their size cause the SNR loss. This paper proposes to use the RELAX algorithm, estimate sequentially the position and amplitude of scattering points, and wipe out the influences of the big scattering points while having no loss of the SNR. Simulation results based on RCS calculating data indicate that the estimation precision of the target’s size can be increased at least by 0.3 m, which meets the requirements for recognizing the true-false warheads under the circumstance of common SNR.
