针对目前对输电线路的状态分析、风险评估过程，不能对线路的整体健康状态和运行风险进行有效的评估、量化和预测的现状，将蒙特卡罗法应用于 CBRM 研究方法，以定量的形式给出了设备的状态评估和风险评估。结合输电线路状态评估和风险评估实际案例，验证了此系统的有效性。
