Damage control surgery is an effective tactic for severe trauma , especially for patients with compound injury,which has been widely used in general surgery,orthopedics surgery,thoracic surgery and other multidisciplinary,with the aim of cure through staged treatment.Damage control neurosurgery is an extension and concretization of the concept of damage control surgery in neuroscience,with the emphasis on rapid diagnosis,rapid assessment and rapid operation,prioritized disposal of the fatal hemorrhage of com-pound injury,protection of peripheral viscera function,creation of favorable conditions for the treatment of severe brain injury,so as to improve the therapeutic effect.
