多形性未分化肉瘤（ UPS）以前被称为恶性纤维组织细胞瘤（ MFH），MFH的概念在2013年世界卫生组织软组织与骨肿瘤分类中被删除并代之以 UPS。 UPS 恶性程度高，复发和转移常见，预后较差，其形态学具有多形性且分化差，误诊率较高。随着分子生物辅助诊断技术日益成熟，为UPS与其他具有多形性形态学特征的恶性软组织肉瘤鉴别提供了一个重要的辅助诊断方法。

Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma ( UPS) is formerly known as malignant fibrous histiocy-toma( MFH) .The concept of MFH is removed and replaced with UPS in the fourth edition of the WHO clas-sification of tumors of soft tissue and bone .UPS is an aggressive malignancy with high potential of local recur-rence and distant metastasis,which has a poor prognosis and higher misdiagnosis due to the polymorphic mor-phology and poor differentiation.Recently,the applications of the molecular biologic techniques for auxiliary diagnosis has become increasingly sophisticated.Therefore they can be used as an auxiliary diagnosis index for UPS in order to distinguish it from other malignant polymorphic soft tissue tumors .
