The measurement and design data for top clearances of counterweight for traction lift involves to car buffer distance, counterweight buffer distance, the maximum allowable value of counterweight buffer distance, and compression stroke of buffer. It is easy to get a wrong judgment in lift supervisory inspection. This paper focus on the discussing of TSG 7001—2009 3.2(2), analyzing the risks of lift inspection, making requests for top clearances of counterweight for traction lift in inspection based on two inspecting cases.
