同型半胱氨酸（ Hcy）属于含硫氨基酸，多种原因导致其升高形成高同型半胱氨酸血症（ HHcy）。目前多方面研究证实HHcy与肺血栓栓塞症的发生发展密切相关，是其独立危险因素。本文就同型半胱氨酸对老年肺血栓栓塞症的早期诊断及危险评估的意义等方面做一综述，旨在寻找一种能够早期、敏感、且简便易行的对老年肺血栓栓塞症的诊断方法。

Homocysteine ( Hcy) is sulfur amino acids,which increases the formation of a variety of causes Hyperhomocysteine-mia.At present,many studies have confirmed the development HHcy closely related to pulmonary embolism,which is an independent risk factor.To review the metabolism of homocysteine,and the significance of early diagnosis of pulmonary embolism in elderly and other aspects of risk assessment,which in order to find an early,high sensitivity and specificity,simple and low-cost diagnostic meth-ods elderly patients with severe pulmonary thromboembolism.This play an important role to enrich the clinical treatment strategies.
