Since Higgins proposed the Regulatory Focus Theory , this theory became the hotspot for the psychologists both at home and abroad in recent years .Regulatory Focus Theory deeply has interpreted and analyzed the motivation of human behavior from a new perspective .In addition, it classified the behavior motivation , which making it be more widely used in the practice of daily life.This paper introduced the concrete content of this theory and its extension , the regulatory fit theory .After comprehensive analysis, it pointed out that the potential application and possible future research .
