教育是促进国家和民族进步的保障，幼儿教育则是保障中的基石。当前我国管理体制下，存在政府政策难以落实、政策虽实施但被“打折扣”、缺乏监管或监管不力等现象，使得幼儿教育发展前景堪忧。教育不公平、乱收费、安全事故时有发生、教学内容不符合要求等一系列问题充斥着人们的眼球。因此，地方政府履行职能，提高幼儿教育监管水平，确保幼儿教育良性运行，才是推动幼儿教育事业发展的动力源泉。

Education is a guarantee for promoting the advancement of our nation, and preschool education is the cornerstone towards it. Under the current management system, it is still possible in our country that some government policies are difficult to enforce or are "discounted" through their implementation, and that, in many places, there still lacks regulation and adequate supervision, which makes the prospect of preschool education quite dim. Our eyes are inundated with irrational things: unfair education, arbitrary charge, undesirable teaching contents and the security incidents that may happen now and then. Therefore, in order to promote the development of our preschool education, the local government should perform well its function and enhance its supervision level to ensure the education going ahead smoothly.
