LOMOTENG 铁锰矿床位于南非波斯特马斯堡—卡拉哈里南北向铁锰成矿带西矿带中段,矿层呈层状或透镜状产于阿斯别斯伯尔格组(Vg)中下部,有时与下伏那姆阿克拉斯组(Vgl)的不整合面直接接触,产状受地层控制,矿区可分为六个矿层,矿床类型为沉积变质型,矿石类型为铁矿石、富锰矿石和铁锰矿石,矿石工业类型属于高铁、低磷冶金用锰矿石,通过采用干、湿试永磁强选机进行一粗一扫进行分选试验,混合锰品位可提高5%~11%,矿山易采易选。本文着重分析该矿产的矿床成因,并对矿石的加工技术性能进行评价。
LOMOTENG 鐵錳礦床位于南非波斯特馬斯堡—卡拉哈裏南北嚮鐵錳成礦帶西礦帶中段,礦層呈層狀或透鏡狀產于阿斯彆斯伯爾格組(Vg)中下部,有時與下伏那姆阿剋拉斯組(Vgl)的不整閤麵直接接觸,產狀受地層控製,礦區可分為六箇礦層,礦床類型為沉積變質型,礦石類型為鐵礦石、富錳礦石和鐵錳礦石,礦石工業類型屬于高鐵、低燐冶金用錳礦石,通過採用榦、濕試永磁彊選機進行一粗一掃進行分選試驗,混閤錳品位可提高5%~11%,礦山易採易選。本文著重分析該礦產的礦床成因,併對礦石的加工技術性能進行評價。

Lomoteng Fe-Mn deposit is located in the middle section of western ore belt of NS-trending Post-masburg-Kalahari Fe-Mn ore belt in South Africa and occurred in the lower-middle part of Asbesheuwels Formation (Vg)in stratified and lenticular forms and occasionally contact with unconformable surface of un-derlying Numakhras Formation (Vgl)directly.The occurrence is controlled by the strata,and the mining area can be divided into six ore horizons.The deposit belongs to sedimentary metamorphism type with ore types including iron ores,manganese-rich ores and ferromanganese ores.The industrial type of the ores is high-iron low-phosphorus metallurgical manganese ores which can be sorted and tested by means of roughing and scavenging by high intensity dry or wet permanent magnetic separators in order to improve the mixed manganese grade by 5%~1 1%.Hence it is concluded that the mine is easy to mine and dress.This paper is concentrated on the deposit genesis of the minerals and made evaluation on the technical performance of ore processing.
