According to the practical project, this paper introduces the application of bailey truss in the steel platform for high?altitude and large?span structural formwork, and puts forward the calculation and construction technology. Installing tower crane standard section columns under the middle of bailey truss reduces the span and internal force. It is also convenient to hoisting construction. The application shows that this technology has good social and economic benefits.
