Electric flux density and magnetic field intensity are defined in term s of two thought experiments . Physical meanings of the two vectors can be realized .The relationships between electric flux density and electric field intensity , magnetic field intensity and magnetic induction intensity can be found from Gauss 's law and Am père law in virtue of Coulomb's law and Biot - Savart law on experimentation .
