A structure design scheme is put forward for the heat pipe cooling type rectifier cabinet based on the requirement for excitation rectifying equipment. Research is carried out on the selection of rectifier element, heat dissipation, insulation and modular design, which achieved a single cabinet output of 1600A with self-cooling. The operation data of the trial cabinet showed the stability and reliability of the design. The structure design scheme can be put to wide use and further study.
