The energy saving transformation on No.1 main fan motor for the 400 m2 sinter machine in Laiwu Steel was taken by adopting AMB-HVI high voltage frequency inverter VVVF control system. One inverter and air-water cooling system device were applied in the main circuit, and high voltage frequency conversion system is completely independent. After technological transformation, the load and running speed of the device can be reduced, the service life of the motor and the wind turbine can be prolonged, maintenance costs and the 768 930 Yuan of monthly electricity fee for No.1 main fan can be saved.
