In this paper, we built the inventory and sale effort level decision-making model based on the collaborative relationship under the VMI model, analyzed the effect of the cost apportioning mechanism on the coordination of the supply chain, on such basis, studied the adjustment of the original cost apportioning contract in the event of sale price fluctuation, and at the end, through a numerical example, verified the effectiveness of the new cost apportioning contract after the adjustment.
