严鸿逵是明末清初著名理学家吕留良的弟子，谨遵其师教诲，在仕途与著述上都贯彻其师反清思想。吕留良这种反清情绪在日记中表现突出，而严鸿逵日记“有较吕留良为尤甚者”。所以，在清雍正帝为辩驳吕留良、严鸿逵等人反清思想而编写的《大义觉迷录》一书中，对吕、严二人的日记中内容深恶痛绝，认为其“颠倒是非，紊乱黑白，以有为无，以无为有”“种种丧心病狂”“大言藐抗”。通过对严吕二人日记内容的对比，发掘严鸿逵对吕留良反清思想的继承与发展，并且阐明缘由。
엄홍규시명말청초저명이학가려류량적제자，근준기사교회，재사도여저술상도관철기사반청사상。려류량저충반청정서재일기중표현돌출，이엄홍규일기“유교려류량위우심자”。소이，재청옹정제위변박려류량、엄홍규등인반청사상이편사적《대의각미록》일서중，대려、엄이인적일기중내용심악통절，인위기“전도시비，문란흑백，이유위무，이무위유”“충충상심병광”“대언묘항”。통과대엄려이인일기내용적대비，발굴엄홍규대려류량반청사상적계승여발전，병차천명연유。
As one of the disciples of Lv Liuliang who was a famous Confucian scholar in the early Qing Dynasty,Yan Hongkui followed his teacher's teaching and carried out the teacher's anti Qing ide-as in his writings during his official career.Lv Liuliang's anti Qing sentiment was obvious in his diary, while the diary of Yan Hongkui "was more powerful than Lv Liuliang's ".So in the book Da Yi Jue Mi Lu that Qing emperor Yong Zheng compiled for disputing Lv's,Yan's and other scholars'anti Qing ide-as,he abhorred of Lv's and Yan's diary contents.He thought that the contents"confused truth and false-hood,disordered of black and white,came out of thin air " ,"became frenzied","were magniloquent and insurgent".By comparing the contents between their diaries,the paper digs out Yan Hongkui's in-heritance and the development of Lv Liuliang's anti Qing ideas,and clarifies the reasons.
