从行动者的主观目的和行动的客观后果出发，在描绘行动的两种性质———理性和意外性，并按照帕森斯的分法对结构的内部变化和外在变迁作出区分的基础上提出，结构生产的含义是指结构的外在变迁。从行动的这两种性质出发，分别阐述了意外后果和理性冲突对结构生产的影响，意外性和理性共同组成和解释了社会变迁的原因。
從行動者的主觀目的和行動的客觀後果齣髮，在描繪行動的兩種性質———理性和意外性，併按照帕森斯的分法對結構的內部變化和外在變遷作齣區分的基礎上提齣，結構生產的含義是指結構的外在變遷。從行動的這兩種性質齣髮，分彆闡述瞭意外後果和理性遲突對結構生產的影響，意外性和理性共同組成和解釋瞭社會變遷的原因。
종행동자적주관목적화행동적객관후과출발，재묘회행동적량충성질———이성화의외성，병안조파삼사적분법대결구적내부변화화외재변천작출구분적기출상제출，결구생산적함의시지결구적외재변천。종행동적저량충성질출발，분별천술료의외후과화이성충돌대결구생산적영향，의외성화이성공동조성화해석료사회변천적원인。
From the perspective of the actor's subjective aims and action's objective consequences,this paper attempts to describe the two properties of action - action out of rationality and accident.Accord-ing to Parsons,this paper also distinguishes the internal structural changes from external changes.The author of this paper holds the view that the meaning of structure production is the external structural changes.The effect on action,respectively from unintended consequences and rational conflicts,are also described in this paper.It can't be denied that action out of accident and rationality coexist in the process of social changes and both of them are the reasons for social changes.
