结合山东某氧化铝厂在使用澳洲矿进行拜耳法生产中种分槽内过快结疤导致沉槽的状况,对槽内结疤的成分和表面形貌进行分析,确定种分槽内结疤以单斜晶系的α-Al(OH)3为主。分析认为,泡沫夹带、降温幅度过大、草酸盐大量析出、添加剂使用不当等均可造成结疤过快生长。根据生产情况,可以从降温幅度、泡沫夹带、有机物脱除、碱洗频率和效率、设备适当改进等方面减缓结疤的生长速度。

According to the practical situation of an alumina factory in Shandong Province using Australia bauxite to Bayer process, the excessive scale growth causing some precipitation tanks to sink was researched. The main ingredient of the scale in the tanks, monoclinic α-Al(OH)3 was determined by the analysis of ingredient and surface topography. Analysis showed that the excessive scale growth was attributed to the superfluous slurry foam, excessive level in temperature dropping, large amounts of oxalate precipitation, bad use of additive, etc. Based on the actual production, the following measures were suggested to slow down the scale growth: temperature dropping, slurry foam eliminating, organics removing, frequency and effect of soda-washing, and equipment improving etc.
