通过阐述基本就业能力和通识课程的概念及两者之间的关系，就目前高职通识课程边缘化、非系统化、功利化等现状，以提升学生基本就业技能为目标，提出高职通识课程改革的几点思考，以发挥文化基础课程、公共选修课程的通识教育在职业生涯中的作用，从而提高高职学生的就业竞争力和职业生涯的持续发展能力。

Through describing the concept as well as the relationship between the basic employment skills and general curriculum, considering the current situation of the higher vocational general curriculum, such as marginalization, non-systematization and utilitarian, with the objective of improving the students' basic employment skills, the author put forward some thoughts of general curriculum, in order to play the role of the general education in cultural basic courses and public elective courses during the professional career, so as to improve the employment competitiveness of vocational students and sustainable development capability of their vocational career.
