目前,抑郁症的机制研究热点之一是炎症反应又称为细胞因子假说,近年来,越来越多的研究表明炎症反应过程及小胶质细胞过度活化参与抑郁症的病理过程。L C N2能够激活小胶质细胞的M1途径。因此,L C N2可能通过促进小胶质细胞的激活,从而在抑郁症的发病过程中起作用,为治疗抑郁症拓展了新的思路。

At present, one of the hot topics in the study of the mechanism of depression, is inflammation, also known as cytokines hypothesis. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that inflammatory reaction process and excessive activation of microglia, involved in the pathological process of depression. M1 way of LCN2 can activate microglia. LCN2 may, therefore, by promoting the activation of microglia, thus play a role in the process of the onset of depression, expanding its new train of thought for the treatment of depression.
