黄土高原干旱半干旱区干旱少雨,生态环境恶劣,造林整地时损坏的地表植被在4~5年内难以恢复,常造成黄土裸露,产生新的水土流失。鉴于此,静宁县在近年的造林整地过程中,创造性地在整地台(坑)的外边埂种植紫花苜蓿和红豆草,较好地解决了毁坏植被难以恢复问题,且有效地促进了新造林木的快速生长,成效显著。

The loess plateau is very dry and little rain, the ecological environment is very bad. The damaged vegetation is very difficult to restore in 4~5 years, the loess bare and produced water and soil loss. So, plantingMedicago sativa andOnobrychis viciaefolia at planted land edge can effectively solve this problem, and promote the growth of new trees planted. The effect of this method is very significant.
