新疆分散污水处理技术的应用推广需要在合理借鉴现有技术的基础上，结合当地的污水水量、水质特点、气候条件、生活习惯、回用目的、经济水平等因素综合确定排放标准、选择工艺。在工艺筛选和设计参数选用中需要进行科学论证，结合当地实际确定原水设计水量，水质指标。在技术及建设管理方面需要政府出台相关的法规及技术指导文件等来规范该行业，使我区污水处理事业能发挥其应有效能。
