在高等数学教学过程中，多值函数不满足教材函数定义中任意的x?D，总有确定的唯一的y值与之对应，由此学生会提出多值函数是否为函数的疑问。在集合元素中引入n维向量，重新定义映射和函数，可以让学生更好地理解多值函数。同时总结了映射的三种运算性质，即映射的相等、延拓与限制。
