This paper introduces the design of shaft power test system of gas turbine. The system consists of data acquisition hardware, serial port communication and PC, where data acquisition nodes and converter connect through USB bus. The converter and industrial PC communicate via a serial port. System software develops program based on LabVIEW, then, the signal collection, transmission, real-time display, storage and query functions about the torque and rotate speed are realized. The ring experiments show that, the test system works properly, the data are accurate and communication runs stable, which can meet the test requirement.
