抵抗素是近年来发现的一种脂肪细胞因子，由脂肪细胞及免疫炎症系统中多种细胞大量分泌。抵抗素最初认为能促进胰岛素抵抗，越来越多的研究认为抵抗素参与炎症反应过程，它在胰岛素抵抗，牙周炎等炎症性疾病中起重要作用，并逐渐得到人们的重视。

Resistin is a recently discovered adipocytokines that is mainly produced by adipocytes in abun-dance by various cells of the immunoinflammatory system. Resistin was firstly postulated to contribute to insulin resis-tance. Then more and more evidences indicate that it may also be involved in the inflammatory process. Therefore, it plays an important role in insulin resistance, periodontitis and other inflammatory diseases, and thus gradually attracts people's attention.
