The foundation trench siltation is major problem in the construction of immersed tube tunnel of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. To protect the safety of bulkhead in the end of tunnel element when dredging boat working nearby the ending, we researched a device that can protect the safety of the end bulkhead, which can be installed and removed accurately under water. It has some reference value to the protection of bulkhead protected steelwork of immersed tunnels.
